- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 large 15 ounce can of pinto beans
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 cup of water
- 2 cans of tomato sauce (or spaghetti sauce)
- Variety of spices – chili powder, seasoning etc.
First, brown the ground beef and then put it into the slow cooker. Add the beans and the tomato sauce, as well as the water and onion. Stir them together in the slow cooker. Add spices to taste. As the meal cooks, you can test the spiciness and add more if needed. Cover the chili and cook it for between 8 and 10 hours on low heat.
