Kids’ Handprint and Footprint Crafts

With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking of really cheap gifts you can force your kids to make so you don’t have to spend money on flowers or a neck tie. I kid, I kid. For no real reason, other than they are adorable, I love when my kids bring home a craft that involves their handprint or footprint (Thanksgiving Turkey anyone?!). And they really can make cute gifts for moms, dads, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Here are 8 Handprint/Footprint Crafts to try:

These framed family handprints from Tres French Hens would make an excellent Father’s Day or Mother’s Day gift – and if you aren’t done growing your family you could just keep adding on; very precious.

Father’s Day Card from Roots and Wings – this is adorable, I love a homemade card with a touch of kid humor.

Handprint tutu from Meet the Dubiens would make an adorable gift from big sisters to their new baby sister or cousin.

Handprint vase from Christina’s Adventures would make a great Mother’s Day gifts or a Teacher’s gift.

Footprint carrot – This is an adorable Springtime craft and a great way to capture a memory before you forget how tiny those little feet were.

This wooden footprint stool from Brown Paper Packages is the cutest thing I have ever seen. What mother or grandmother wouldn’t not melt if she received this?! And fairly simple to make.

The handprint fish bowl from Walking the Way would be a fun craft to do if your kids are in love with marine life like mine are – plus, you don’t actually have to feed these fish.

So let your kids cover their hands and feet and get to printing!
