10 iPhone Apps for Kids

I have mentioned before my reluctance to let my children play with my laptop (iPhone, iPad… really anything that I don’t want to pay to replace), but when I do, I want to make sure they are playing a learning app that is age-appropriate and not building a farm run by zombies or some other nonsense like that.

Animal Memory Match by Imagam.com

Just like the classic game of Memory you’ve probably played with your kids on the living room floor, Animal Memory Match tests kids memory-skills with cute little animals.

PopMath Basic Math by AppBlit LLC

The focus with this app is on addition, subtraction and multiplication and will give your kids a welcome break from traditional flashcards or math worksheets.

This app is perfect for my 5-year-old aspiring chef, especially when I don’t have the patience to let her “create” in the kitchen. Kids can create cookies, follow recipes and of course decorate the cookies! Compatible with the iPhone or iPad.

Zoo Train by Busy Bee Studios
